Wimbledon Poster | Herry Perry | 1931

Wimbledon tennis fortnight has long been a key sporting event for Londoners. Numerous stylish posters were produced to promote it in the 1930's. This one, published by the Underground Group in 1931, was designed by Herry Perry. It promotes the bus connection to the tennis courts, which were some distance from the nearest Underground station.
