Cointreau by Charles Loupot vintage print
The character of Pierrot had long been associated with the Cointreau brand. In 1930, the house decided to refresh its imagery and move away from Tamagno's Pierrot. They entrusted Loupot with the task of creating two posters, one featuring a male Pierrot and another with a female version. The artist fulfilled his mission, applying his distinctive style of the time. The captivating and enchanting color orange was chosen, representing the dominant flavor in the liqueur.

Charles Loupot (20 July 1892 – 18 October 1962) was a renowned French poster artist and painter.

He stood among France's most notable poster artists, sharing the spotlight with A.M. Cassandre, Paul Colin, and Jean Carlu. His groundbreaking utilization of the lithographic technique earned him widespread acclaim throughout his illustrious fifty-year career.
