Kina Lillet Poster

Kina Lillet is an aperitif wine made from blends of Bordeaux wine, quinine and fruit liqueur, invented in 1887 by brothers Pierre and Raymond Lillet. Kina Lillet was white, which set it apart from other aperitifs at the time that were red. The Kina Lillet company launched in 1895 and was quickly nicknamed the "aperitif of Bordeaux." In 1986, the company was under pressure to appease the international market and removed most of the quinine in Lillet. Today, the company is known as Lillet Blanc.
